Our first live session where we discuss the world of SBOMs – why do we need them,
what can you do with them and how do they fit into the coming regulations?
The Software Bill of Materials is a core tool for risk management, dependency tracking, vulnerability handling and license compliance, to mention a few usages. Knowing what components the software is made of is critical in today’s cyber security landscape – both for customers and manufacturers. Components can be both commercial and open source. Libraries, containers, build tools, test tools – there’s a long list of components used in the final software and during building the release.
During this open session we’ll give you a view of the current state of SBOMs, our thoughts of what the focus should be and some ideas on how this is related to the various regulations in place or coming soon.
Join Anthony and Olle for a session where we share our thoughts and answers questions.
